Another survivor Chocolate Holidays

E 'in February, the month of love, the month of chocolate. Chocolate candy, chocolate hearts, red and pink M & M's, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate boxes, chocolate with everything! There is only one day, right? What is the harm in indulging for a day? There are few people who can not manage - the person in a "diet" or healthy diet plan, try to lose weight is that diabetics can not eat sugar, the person who [are allergic to it and may not even know ]and then people like me, a recovering chocoholic. For people like me who is 14 February, a challenge and something I've learned to survive. Let me help you survive:

First, let me tell you, you can survive without chocolate in Feb. 14th. I know, I also thought it an impossible task. But I'm here to tell you, you can. I did. And I never thought I would. I grew up in a good family, with parents who spoil our holiday. We have always monitoredValentine's Day with goodies on the table - Candy Hearts with cute sayings, flowers or jewelry, and a large heart-shaped box of chocolates. Every year without fail. So when I left home, I celebrated Valentine's Day every year, if I had a boyfriend or not. And if I happen to see my parents on Valentine's Day, you can be sure to bring a heart-shaped box of chocolates, but for me, for my children. Then I got married and I have a man who reallyloves me. I mean, really loves me, and really loves to show, know that the Heart Shaped Box was even greater, but you know, no matter how big it was, I could have finished in a few days! Flash Forward 10 years, I lost 75 pounds and it was my first healthy Valentine's Day without chocolate face. Is it possible? Can I do this? Why should I? Was it really possible, or that I could only indulge in a day? Flash forward another 7 years. Chocolate is not even to buy something in return. So whathas happened in the past 7 years?

A lot. A lot of trial and error. Some years I have had only a "small". Some years I have had a "lot". Some years the show, and I have some I do not. So, what was best for me? Physically, emotionally, psychologically - for me - it was those years that I did not like. And this is from someone who loves chocolate, absolutely! In fact, I consider myself a connoisseur of chocolate I can call from literally any ingredient in chocolate candy bar. I know that theDifference between milk chocolate, dark chocolate, crunchy, smooth, well covered in the fruits of good chocolate taste. Oh, here we go again! I'm the only one who can do this? No, obviously not, because if you make these questions of every woman to chocolate, have the same experience that I do. How could this happen? Each was raised, just as I was? Chocolate is just a replacement for "I love you"?

I came to love my children. Every year, since they were born, I gave up, As I was ruined. Each morning, Valentine's Day is for everyone. I rationalized that my chocolate heart-shaped boxes were smaller, not so bad for them. It 's still chocolate. But wait, is not healthy for you chocolate? TV and radio and newspapers say, yes, chocolate is healthy for you. Do you feel good. It makes you healthier. Really? What it is, what your level or your blood sugar or your self-esteem?

So you can survive another holidaywith chocolate? Yes! How?

o Make a commitment to themselves. Know your reasons and understand why it is important to you.
or gifts of chocolate Vice normal thought, how you want your child to something real, something or your loved ones needs.
Maintain or hear the question of how you really feel, not like chocolate makes you look.
Or ignore what everyone else does not - be healthy and do what you really want, not what to do or what was thrown out in the mediato do.

Start with small changes that can make a difference in your body. If you fight and your desire for chocolate is part of this struggle, then be strong and to eliminate from your life. It starts with the interior ...
